Pub since 1695. Quaint and cosy, this is a popular village
inn in the old style. Good beers to go with good food.

|
Excellent
selection of brews including Old Speckled Hen, Banks, Timothy Taylor
Landlord on cask (plus different Guest Beers), with Boddingtons on keg.

Good food lunch and evenings (not Monday I believe). Home cooked. Got
a name for their steak pies!

By road, it's along Leek Road out of Macclesfield, left at Byrons Lane traffic lights, on the left just before the aqueduct.
