Introduction:
|
This lovely country pub fell on hard times and was closed
for a year or two. A traditional 18th century
country pub, it is actually out of sight of the canal but it is the
only accessible one between Bosley locks and the outskirts of Congleton
so it is well worth the short walk! The building used to be the local
courthouse and it has been beautifully refurbished by Darrell Bebbington
reopening in March 2010.
