Braunston - canal age transport hub

A look at the history of canals in and around Braunston, Northamptonshire, in the wider context of the history of transport, from Roman roads to early river transport, through turnpikes, the canal age, the railway age and the motorway age. Although the talk concentrates on Braunston, it includes many references to the wider history of the narrow canal system of the South Midlands.
